Privacy Policy

Botanist: Plant Breeding does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. Everything the Game saves — your progress, your discovered plants, your settings — stays on your device. We have no servers, no accounts, and no analytics. We never see your data because it never leaves your phone.

1. Information We Collect

None. The Game does not collect any personal information or usage data. Specifically, the Game does not:

• Require or offer an account, login, or registration
• Collect your name, email address, phone number, or contacts
• Collect or use your location
• Use advertising, advertising identifiers, or ad networks
• Include analytics, telemetry, or usage-tracking software
• Include crash- or error-reporting services
• Transmit any data off your device to us or to any third party

2. Data Stored On Your Device

The Game saves your gameplay data — such as your level, experience, discovered plants, outpost state, and preferences (e.g. Reduce Motion) — locally on your device only. This data:

• Never leaves your device and is never sent to us or anyone else
• Is managed by your device’s operating system as part of the app’s local storage
• Is removed when you uninstall the Game (or clear its data through your device settings)

We cannot access, recover, or restore this data because we never receive a copy of it.

3. Third-Party Services

The Game does not embed any third-party data-collection SDKs, advertising networks, or analytics services. The platform you download the Game from (e.g. the Apple App Store or Google Play) may collect information independently under its own privacy policy; that collection is governed by Apple’s or Google’s policies, not this one.

4. Permissions

The Game does not request access to sensitive device features such as your camera, microphone, location, contacts, or photos.

5. Children’s Privacy

The Game does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). Because no data is collected, the Game does not knowingly gather data from children and complies with applicable children’s privacy requirements (e.g. COPPA / GDPR-K) by design.

6. Your Rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete on our side. You remain in full control of the data stored on your device and can remove all of it at any time by uninstalling the Game or clearing its storage in your device settings.

7. Changes to This Policy

If the Game ever changes in a way that affects data handling — for example, if a future version adds optional cloud saves or analytics — we will update this policy and revise the Last updated date before that version ships. Material changes will be reflected in the in-app privacy link.
